Community Learning
Community Learning Arts and Crafts project is enjoyed by its members who meet every Thursday morning. Each week a different topic is covered, mostly to do with various methods and techniques for producing hand-made greetings cards, although other craft techniques have also been covered. The tasks are set and taught usually by our very patient tutor Janet. On occasion, and when Janet is absent, other members of the group take over, and teach ideas of their own.
The standard of work produced is excellent, and samples can be seen displayed at the Centre.
The group is extremely friendly, and offers members of the community a chance to socialise, while improving skills, and being an important part of the adult learning programme.
